Where is The Highlands located?
The Highlands is conveniently located at 2800 Enterprise Road, just two blocks from UNR in Reno, Nevada.
How do I get to campus?
Our incredible location makes it easy to get to campus because we’re just two blocks away! Walk to campus or take the RTC shuttle straight to campus by showing your student ID.
Is on-site parking available?
Yes, we have ample parking for both residents and guests, and we have covered-parking options.
What floor plans do you offer?
The Highlands offers two-, three-, and four-bedroom floor plans so you can find the fit that’s right for you!
What is an individual lease?
An individual lease is a per-bed lease. You sign a lease for a bed in the apartment and share common areas with roommates. This allows you to live with roommates without having to worry about whether they’re going to pay on time!
What is the process to match roommates?
If you’re looking for a roommate, fill out our roommate-matching questionnaire online when you sign your lease. We will use that information to match you and your future roommate. If you already have a roommate selected, we can help sort out the details with that, too!
What is the Students First™ program?
The Students First™ Residence Life program consists of our highly trained staff, student services, programming, and activities — all designed to meet your needs as a modern, active college student. Do you have an on-site laundry facility?
Each apartment is furnished with its own washer and dryer.
Do you have a maintenance staff?
Yes, we have maintenance available during office hours as well as 24-hour emergency maintenance service.
Do I have to be a student to live here?
No, you do not.
How do I pay rent?
Rent is due on the 1st of each month with a grace period until the 4th day of the month. Rent is considered late beginning on the 5th of each month. Please note that late fees will start to accrue beginning on the 5th day.

How do I apply for an apartment?
You can easily complete the entire leasing process online by clicking here. Fill out and submit your application, your guarantor’s application, and your roommate preferences form. You can even complete the lease for your new apartment online! We are also available on-site if you wish to visit us to apply in person.
I’m an international student — what do I need to sign my lease?
You will need your passport and I-20 form. Please call our office if you have any additional questions.
