It’s October, which means the holiday season is upon us. We have some awesome events planned for Resident Appreciation Week this month. Be sure to join us as we celebrate you! Renewal season is also upon us. If you’d like to renew your lease or have any questions regarding leasing, please feel free to reach out to our front office. We’re here to help!
We would like to give our maintenance crew a huge shoutout as they work very hard to get service requests completed in a 48-hour timeframe! Please submit your service request as soon as you identify an issue in your apartment. You can submit service requests via your online portal, over the phone, or in the office. Our Community Assistants will gladly help with any issues you may be having.
After Hours Requests: If it is after hours, please call the on-call number at (775) 770-4887, and the technician or Community Assistant that is on call will determine whether the work order is an emergency or not.
Reminders & Updates
We hope everyone has been able to settle in and that you have all had the chance to get to know your roommates. We hope you are all doing well, but if you are having any issues, please contact the front office as we are here to assist you with any issues that may arise.
Your installment is due on the 1st of every month. We do give you a grace period until the 4th to pay. Your installment is considered late on the 5th, and you will be charged a $65 late fee. On the 6th, you will start accruing a $5/day late fee until your installment is paid.
If you are interested in renewing your lease, now is the time as we’re offering the lowest rates of the season! Contact the front office so we can send your offer. Once your offer is sent, you will have to accept and sign it to lock in your rate. If you have any questions regarding the process, please contact our front office.
Midterms are right around the corner. The Highlands staff would like to wish you all good luck on your midterms as we enter the holiday season!
We hope you’ve had a good start to the semester! Everyone should be settled in by now and ready to take on the school year. October will be packed with events and a special Resident Appreciation Week, so be sure to look at the events section in this newsletter.
Renewal rates and new lease rates are ready! Please stop by the front desk so we can answer any questions you have in regard to renewing your lease — we’re happy to help and would love to see you stay with us next year!
Get involved. Get ahead.
Did you know students who are involved outside of the classroom are more successful in their academic pursuits? If you haven’t already done so, we encourage you to find opportunities to get involved on campus and in the local community. Your campus’ student activities office is a great place to start to find out about clubs, organizations, and campus events. You can also connect with our team to find ways to get connected. Whether it’s the chess club or intramural football, or volunteering at a local shelter, we would love to help you find ways to get involved both at your Campus Advantage community and on campus.
